David Reynolds (Brother-in- law) The brief 25 years that I have been privileged to know Jim and be present with the family to his unflagging zeal for life and engagement have been extraordinary. His joyful embrace of all the opportunities to fully participate with his family and children as they grew was palpable across the miles and over the years. They were the center of his world Now he has had to leave much too soon. But the joy he leaves behind of his warm smile, easy laughter and delight in every day pleasures will live forever in our memories. Someone who has been so much a part of us can never be gone

I will miss my dear brother tremendously. He was such an amazing young man. I have never met anyone so in tuned with his family. He was so very proud of David, Sarah and Jonny. Halloween will never be the same, he was so creative, and enjoyed it so very much. I love, and miss him so dearly.

Jimmy grabbed life with gusto from the start. As a baby and toddler, he was forever laughing and giggling, with an adorable red curl in the middle of his forehead. As a child, he participated in everything-- music lessons (the cornet), marching band, bowling, wrestling, debate club, Little League, Cub Scouts, golf; you name it, and he did it with joy and boundless energy. At the same time, he was extremely sensitive and tender. One of my fondest memories was his holding his two-year-old nephew Cory on his lap while gently blow-drying Cory's hair; years later, I marveled as I watched him sit for a full, quiet hour carefully removing the tangles from his young daughter Sarah's hair and then lovingly braiding it for her. Everything was done with great love, generosity of spirit, and precision. Such a perfect soul of a man!

The Geneva Street neighbors have wonderful memories of Jim and the kids in the front yard playing ball. Each year we watched him build a sukkah with awe and amazement, as the kids went in. We are so sorry for his passing but loved, loved his celebration of life.

I did not mention I am Jim's oldest sister and also do not proof read well. I meant to say I always felt guilty about not doing the sugar cookies that required decorating with my son Cory because of the creativity it required.

He was and will always be Jimmy. He was the most non-judgmental and "glass half full" person I have ever known. He always saw the positive. He loved celebrating holidays. I will never forget him dressed as a Telatubby,,Grim Reaper, and many more. He loved decorating Christmas sugar cookies which I always felt guilty a it not doing with my some because of the time and imagination they took. As I just typed imagination I guess that is why he ended up as Director of Imagineering at Disney. He never lost the joy of youth and love of life and family. His family were his pride and joy. What will remain with me is his dry sense of humor which I am sure we can all think about, remember and chuckle.

My beloved brother Jim. The kindest, gentlest person I have ever known. He had the rarest blend of tremendous ability and understated manner. His love of life--in all its glory-- was profound. We will never forget his loving smile, quick wit, love of Halloween, warm embrace, and deep compassion. My heart is forever broken.
