The Ziegler Center: A Sacred Space for Gathering

During your time of grief, hosting a large gathering in your home can feel overwhelming. Our bright and open facilities offer a welcoming environment that can comfortably accommodate your guests, providing a more suitable and less stressful alternative for your family’s meal of condolence.

The traditional s’udat havraah—the first meal served to mourners upon returning from the cemetery—becomes a time of comfort and connection when held in our peaceful setting. Our experienced staff understands the sensitivity required and will ensure every detail is handled with the utmost respect for Jewish traditions.

Flexible Service Times and Recommendations

Morning Service (10:00 AM): We recommend scheduling the funeral service at 10:00 AM. This timing provides ample opportunity for your gathering afterward, ensuring a peaceful and unhurried environment. It also allows sufficient time for clean-up before the park closes, maintaining the respectful atmosphere of the venue.

The Ziegler Center for Unveilings: For those wishing to host a reception after an unveiling, we suggest scheduling the unveiling ceremony before 1:00 PM. This ensures that the gathering can conclude by 4:00 PM, allowing our staff adequate time for clean-up and closing procedures.

Extended Hours Option: During the months of July and August, the Ziegler Center offers an extended hours option. For an additional fee, you can schedule your gathering to remain open until 6:00 PM—perfect for larger families or when relatives are traveling from afar.
