Steps to Begin the Process
- Designate someone to be responsible for making arrangements. If you have a funeral trust with us, make sure to let them know your trust number and ensure they know that you have designated Mount Sinai as both your mortuary and your cemetery

- If you are interested in our dedicated Chevra Kadisha services, please let the our staff know. Our Mount Sinai Chevra Kadisha ensures that your loved one is prepared for burial according to Jewish law. We offer this service to anyone in the Jewish community regardless of whether you choose to buried at our cemetery
- When you call, be sure to have the following information about your loved one: date of birth, time of death, current location, social security number, and doctor’s name, phone number and fax number
