About Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries
We Treat Your Family Like Our Own
Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries is committed to providing compassionate care during life’s most challenging moments. We honor the deceased with dignity and respect while supporting the living with guidance and understanding. Every member of our team—from counselors and advisors to mortuary staff, landscapers, and administrative professionals—is driven by a shared sense of purpose: to treat your family as if it were our own.
We proudly serve the entire Jewish community, offering mortuary and burial practices that honor diverse traditions and needs. Whether you observe secular customs or follow the most sacred rituals, and regardless of means or background, Mount Sinai is here to provide a meaningful and supportive experience for every family we serve.
Serving the Entire Jewish Community for Over 60 Years
In 1954, Mount Sinai Hollywood Hills was consecrated as a Jewish Memorial Park, and since 1964, we have been owned and operated by Sinai Temple of Los Angeles. In 1997, we opened Mount Sinai Simi Valley to ensure our ability to serve the Southern California Jewish community for the next 250 years.
All Under One Roof

Our dedicated team is here to guide you through every step of the process—from transportation and care of your loved one to personalized service arrangements and selecting the most meaningful burial site.
At Mount Sinai, we strive to create an honest, supportive environment where every decision is treated with care, respect, and understanding. Your family is our family, and we are here for you 24 hours a day, ensuring your loved one receives the dignity and honor they deserve.
Serving the Entire Jewish Community
From the most secular to the most observant, Mount Sinai serves the entire Los Angeles Jewish community. We respect the diversity of Jewish traditions and work closely with families to ensure each service reflects their unique values and beliefs.
As a Chevra Kadisha for the region, we honor centuries-old Jewish customs, including:
- Tahara: The ritual washing and preparation of the deceased.
- Sh’mira: The sacred tradition of watching over the deceased and reciting psalms.
Through our unique Traditions program, Mount Sinai ensures that Jewish traditional burial is accessible to all, blending reverence for the past with care for today’s families. Learn more about our Chevra Kadisha services here.
