About Us
We Treat Your Family Like Our Own
Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries is dedicated to helping families in their time of need and devoted to honoring the deceased while taking care of the living. All of our counselors, advisors, mortuary, landscape and administrative support team members are driven by a powerful sense of purpose. We treat your family like our own.
We serve every member of the Jewish community. Mount Sinai offers mortuary and burial practices from the most secular to the most observant, from the most affluent to the most humble.
Serving the Entire Jewish Community for Over 60 Years
In 1954, Mount Sinai Hollywood Hills was consecrated as a Jewish Memorial Park, and since 1964, we have been owned and operated by Sinai Temple of Los Angeles. In 1997, we opened Mount Sinai Simi Valley to ensure our ability to serve the Southern California Jewish community for the next 250 years.
All Under One Roof
Mount Sinai houses mortuary and cemetery services under one roof. We will guide you through every step of the process – giving you peace of mind and comfort during your time of need.
We are on-site to assist you 24 hours each day – from transporting and caring for the deceased, to working with you to make all the service arrangements, to selecting the most appropriate burial site. Mount Sinai will provide an honest and supportive environment to help you make decisions that make you feel comfortable. We treat your family like our own.
We serve the entire Jewish community, from the most secular to the most observant
Today, Mount Sinai functions as a Chevra Kadisha for the entire Los Angeles Jewish community by offering traditional Jewish observances of Tahara (ritual washing) and Sh’mira (watching over the deceased and reciting psalms).
