I learned of Stephen's passing this morning and I am in shock. Steve and I were good friends from 1956 when we worked on the 1956 Stevenson for President campaign in Norfolk. Several years ago on Facebook and had several very pleasant phone conversations. I remember him as a mensch. My condolences to the entire family. May his memory be a blessing.
