I am saddened to hear of Dr. Sid Schwartz's passing. He was my very favorite Prof. I pray for his eternal salvation. I wish him go to heaven

I met Dr. Schwartz about 13 years ago when I started the graduate program at CSUN. Although I was completely intimidated to go back to school since I had a full time job and a toddler to take care of at home, the minute I talked to Dr. Schwartz, I knew I could do it because I felt he would be helping me throughout the process. Since the day I met him, he was an encouraging mentor, a great professor and, an incredibly supportive friend. He was always there for me when I needed him, for school or personal issues. For all these years, we have been meeting for lunch at Brent's Deli once a month to catch up on our lives, religion or politics. I am going to miss him so much. Love, Silvia
