Since 1990 I've gone by the on-air name "Eggman," tho I am no relation to "Chickenman." I am just another of the lowly rabble of fans and admirers of Mr. Orkin, whose creativity has inspired me, whose comedic genius has challenged me to learn the craft better, and whose brilliance I will probably never approach. I delight in living in the Theater of the Mind. Mr. Orkin made a tremendous ticket-taker.

The service was a lasting memorial to Dick. With all of your words Dick was smiling that huge smile that he had. He will always be part of us through all of you.

A truly moving tribute to a brilliant man we loved. It was so special for us to be a part of this service since it wasn't possible for us to be on the West Coast. Sandy, Haris and Lisa -- Your brother, and father would have been so very proud of you (and from wherever he is now, still is). And Becca, your zeyda loved you so much. Your words showed so much love. His body is gone, but not his spirit. He will be with all of you forever. We love you all -- Sandy & Joel

What a beautiful service. Every speech was heartfelt and Dick would have loved it. We are so grateful to have watched it by web. We cried and laughed and only wish we could be there to hug and cry and laugh in person. We are sitting shiva with you virtually. We loved that man as so many did. Love to all. Jan & Cindy & Adler & Hayden. xoxoxo
