Aunt Regina, I miss you beautiful smile and your outstretched arms for a hug of "I am so glad to see you." I thank you for all the beautiful moments I have spent with you, talking about what I am doing, and how is the family. You loved every one of us children, starting in the 40's and all the way up to 2013. You have touched an awful lot of hearts in your lifetime, and we all shall never forget them. I know I never will forget my memories of you, my Aunt Regina, who gave me my first bath. Aunt Regina, Rest In Peace and thank you for being there for us all. Love and Kisses, your nephew, Paul Haferling

Auntie R: Multi-colored cookies made from dough magically transformed by the contents of little McCormick's food coloring bottles and then found in a cookie jar, yes; a real cookie jar. Blue green rose colored swirled cookies that were fun to make, look at and delicious to eat. A woman who went to work and got her family out of a neighborhood in decline. A woman determined to make a difference, and she did.
