Raymond L. Lesonsky, MD passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the age of 88 in Los Angeles, CA. He was born October 27, 1934, in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph and Shirley (Flinker) Lesonsky. After his mother passed when Raymond was 11 years old, the family joined other family members here in Southern California, where he continued to reside. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, then completed his medical degree at University of Southern California, becoming a respected Pathologist and practicing for over 45 years.

He married Marilyn Brahm in 1960, who passed in 2007, just 13 days shy of their 47th wedding anniversary. Together, they relished spending time together doing everything from every-day errands to doting on their family.  He took tremendous pride and is survived by daughters Sherri and Cindy (Allen), grandchildren Carly and Ian, Cousin Sylvia Miceli, nephews and nieces Eric (Annette), Paula (Chad), Sandy, Lisa, Josh (Clarissa), as well as several great nephews and nieces. Though he was a self-professed home body, he had enjoyed numerous fishing trips with his older brother Seymour, nephew Eric and other friends met along the way.  He was an aficionado of classical music since he was a young child and thoroughly loved watching basketball, football, softball, and most other competitive events. He will be remembered for being a generous and kind person, always trying to make everyone around him laugh and just not taking himself too seriously.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations may be made in his name to the Northridge Hospital Foundation.
