Joan, Kathy and family, Dave and I are sending our deepest condolences to you at this very sad time. It has been a long seven months as Phil battled this illness, yet he was so optimistic and courageous throughout. And you were right there by his side, as always, to support him. Phil was a warm, kind, friendly, very hard working and smart man! He was always upbeat and fun to be around whenever we got to be with the two of you. David and I have fond memories of the many times we shared together, whether it was for brunches, dinners or crab feasts back here in Baltimore, or meeting in New Orleans for Seth and Cheremie's wedding, or your entertaining our family in your home in LA when we did our West Coast trip 30 years ago. You, Phil and Kathy went to great lengths to make sure that our children had the very best time! Phil will be sorely missed. May his memory always be a blessing to all of his family and friends who knew and loved him. Warm hugs, Carol & Dave
