Mr and Mrs Sendowski, I was so sad to hear of Ofers passing. I was part of the climbing group that Ofer was in. We wouldn’t just climb but also hiked and camped. Ofer was always fun, happy and an active participant in our little tribe. That group of friends was an incredibly special group that only happens if one is lucky. It slowly dissolved as people moved and lives changed to different demands but I always think of those adventures with those friends with the warmest of smiles and happiest memories. Ofer Will always be a part of those cherished memories. My deepest heartfelt condolences to you. Sydney Risser

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Sendowski: I knew Ofer for over 20 years. I worked with him on environmental consulting projects. We also belonged to the same climbing group. He was always a joy to be with -- happy, interesting, and adventurous. One of our best adventures came at Pt. Dume at the southern end of Zuma Beach. We were climbing there one day when it began to rain. All the other climbers quickly packed up and left, but not the two of us. We switched off climbing. When Ofer climbed, he climbed by touch because his glasses fogged over and he couldn't see. And he climbed up through streamiest of sandy water sheeting off the rock. Now, it made no sense to climb under those conditions, so we climbed for the pure unbridled joy of living. Mr. and Mrs. Sendowski, you raised a really good son. I am proud and honored to count him as a friend.
