Nellie Geldin
December 8, 2013
When our family lived around the corner from the Geldin's on Vose St., Nellie was thrilled that a Jewish family moved in and always went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She would stop by during her walks when we were home and loved watching our two sons grow. In fact, there were countless times when the boys were playing in our backyard that the ball would end up in her backyard and before you knew it, she threw the ball back. Nellie was our "go to" tailor for years, and she did great work!!! And of course, every Halloween, she made sure that our boys got the "real" candy bars from her and Irving, to the little ones. Our kids always looked forward to trick or treating at Nellie's!! She will be missed, and may the family only have cherished memories and great stories!!!
