Glenn and I enjoyed visiting with Minto. Ever gracious, she welcomed us warmly. Hers was a life well-lived, full of unusual and interesting experiences. Whether talking about her childhood in Hawaii or current events, Minto expressed her ideas and experiences in precise and entertaining language. I was impressed with her attitude toward her health. Although seriously impaired by her medical problems, she told me she just made up her mind to get through serious illness positively. Her "I can do this" willingness to face illness head-on was admirable. She will be missed, but the memories are good. They will help us through this time. Glenn and I extend our sincerest condolences on Minto's passing.

I worked with Minto at the American Jewish Committee and thought the world of her. She was an amazing role model and was a tremendous influence on my life. She gave us her California desert tortoise named Lilith who went on to have many children and still lives happily in our yard. Yet another tribute to a remarkable woman! She will be missed. May her memory be a blessing.
