Obituary
Milton Wolfe Kagen
Milton was born in the Edendale section of Los Angeles to Sarah and Louis M. Kagen. His sisters were Blanche, Gladys, and Ruth. His beloved wife, Shirley M. Kagan (they were married 51 years) passed away on April 24, 2008. Milt was a long time resident of Hollywood, and attended Vine Street, Bancroft, and Hollywood High schools. He graduated USC in 1949. He was a life member of the UCLA alumni association. During World War II, he saw service with the US Army (Armed Forces Radio Service) in the Pacific, and was awarded the purple heart. After graduating from USC he worked variously in the aerospace industry as a writer, editor, and an illustrator. He worked as chief of publications and publications for Armed Forces Radio and Television (1962-1968). He also did free lance cartooning. Survivors include Robert (Nadine) Huberman, Janet Lucar, Michael (Sydney) Huberman, Lori (Brian) Hayes.
