How do you start to comfort those left behind when you loose a friend such as Marilyne. At the age of 15 we met at Morse Ave beach in Chicago and a friendship began. We were married one week apart back in 1959, lived across the street from each other, walked our babies down Devon Ave together and loved one another as only friends can. Even though we were hundreds of miles apart in our later years we still had each other by phone, our friendship never faltered. I know your pain and suffering is over but I will miss you so my friend. RIP - Sharon

Although we only met Marilyn twice, she felt like an old time friend. She had the gift of making people feel welcomed. We share in the pain of the loss of this great lady but we are also happy that she is no longer in pain and in a place of peace. She left some big shoes to fill but undoubtfully you will be able to fill them because you are an extension of her strength! Our prayers are with so you may continue her legacy. Love, Jim & Rosa Meeks

When you lose someone so unexpectedly the pain seems unbearable. May beautiful memories comfort you and give you the strength at this difficult time. Thoughts of Marilyne fill my heart. She was my best friend for almost 60 yrs. and I will miss her for the rest of the days I have left. One of my comforts is that she no longer suffers. Love to all she has left behind. It's a beautiful legacy that she created.
