I loved my aunt Lorraine. She was like a big sister to me when I was growing up. Lorraine used to babysit me in the Bronx. She helped raise me. I miss her very much. May she rest in peace.

I met Lorraine back around 1994 or so at a bingo, of course, LOL..Then we both migrated to our current bingo hall a few years later..and continued to play there..I have fond memories..amongst them, when she and I witnessed Tyler's first steps..she was soooo excited. Throughout the past years, we always chatted at bingo and caught each other up on what was new in our lives. Being from New York, we also remembered funny stories about old neighborhoods. I last spoke to Lorraine about 2 weeks ago..she was being tough and hoping to feel better soon. Will miss my funny friend. Rest in peace, sweetie!!

Lorraine was bingo companion. She and I drove to bingo weekly and those 45 minute drives were always an experience. We spoke about our ups and downs. Our families and their families. Our friendship extended 25 plus years and we never exchanged a cross or unkind word. (With the exception of damnit or crap when someone yelled bingo ahead of us.

My grandma Lorraine was a gem. My child memories are filled with fun times from my summers spent at the Gloria Ave house in Encino. My grandpa Pete worked a lot and when my Auntie Lisa wasn’t whipping me around town to her shenanigans, I spent a lot of time hanging with Lorraine. We had a special bond and throughout the years after gramps passed away we stayed in touch and would laugh about the good times. She loved taking me for chefs salads at Coco’s and even snuck me into bingo with her on a few occasions. When she won, you could hear her screams of “BINGO!” all the way through the Santa Monica Mountains. She made me laugh and was very sweet, but still as tough as they come, don’t make her angry! Later on in my life I coincidently ended up working at the famous Capitol Records tower in Hollywood, the place where Peter and Lorraine first met. I would walk those halls and picture the fiery red head receptionist falling for the handsome engineer in studio A, and vice versa. Now they can finally reunite for another dance and round of bingo up in the sky. I love you grandma. Thank you for all the love and memories. I will never forget you. Rest easy baby doll. Love, Richie and family.
