I'm so sad to hear of Kenny's passing. I know I'm years to late, but I thought I had to write something. There are a few important men in my life, especially just starting out in this tough business. Kenny was one of them, he was one of my most important mentors. I learned so much from him in the 8 or so years I was around him. I worked on America's Top 10 with Kenny as well as other projects. I find myself today handing down and teaching one of his always available sayings. Like lighting is 90% BS and only 10% knowledge. He was so right. I only hope I can be 1/2 the teacher Kenny was for me, now that I effect young LDs. Rest in Peace Mr. Palius, you were one of a kind.

My father, Harry Kapner, was a cousin of Kenny. I first met him when he was stationed in San Antonio, Texas in the Air Force. He would come to Houston and stay with us for a few days. Later when he came to town on business, we would go out to dinner with him. We always looked forward to his visits. The last time I was with Kenny was in Atlanta at a Mini Kapner reunion about 2000. Kenny’s mother and my dads father were brother and sister. Not sure if any family members will see this message, but if you do and would like to talk, I would like to talk. Thank you, Bernie Kapner

Ken was my great grandpa. I had only met him a few years before he passed away but he was truly an amazing man. I love the stories he told me. I miss him sooo much.

I loved Kenny. He was a walking encyclopedia and adored by all who worked with him. I was privileged to know him.
