Donna, Robert, Lisa and Margie, We met your dad, before he became a DAD...We met your grandparents, aunt Marilyn and Uncle Arnie. The Rose family were always warm and compassionate people. As you know we raised our families together, vacationed, shared mitzvahs etc. A favorite story I would now like to share......I am not sure who was the new baby needing a bottle in the middle of the night, and Joe (of course, Diane needs to rest) went to feed the infant and never returned to the marital bed...Diane was curious and went searching for him, found him in the closet sleeping on the floor.....Explanation "I thought I WAS in bed" Just like Joe, always trying to help!!!! We will always have him in our hearts.

Donna, Robert, Lisa, and Margie, I am much too far away today. To bridge the miles I send you my love in the form of some cherished memories of your dear father, Joe Rose. As a young teenager your father's warm nature, his Philadelphia drawl, and easy smile always welcomed me. Thinking back, your dad was different. Clearly. he was special. He was proud and devoted to his family unlike any father I had ever met. These memories of your father span many years. From my long friensship with you Donna, I know that his warmest most loving qualities live on in you all. For the privilege of having met Joe, and knowing all of you I am very grateful. All my love now and for many years to come, Janet Youkeles
