I just want to say that Joe was a loyal and devoted uncle. we met for lunch every Monday since my mom passed away 5 years ago. He was always cheerful and ready to talk especially about movies which he loved.. He will be greatly misssed by myself and all of his family and many friends.

Joe, Mr Hollywood.... Thats how I always referred to him ...What I always appreciated about Joe Naar... he was one never to be judgemental nor did life dramas take his time... He was a no nonse guy.. to the point.. don`t waste my time guy....I liked that about him ... With that attitude ..he did pretty well for himself.... He fought proudly for this Country in the great world war, and told his stories on that PT Boat and "look to at the horizon" not to get sea sick, (yes like J.F. Kennedy) He would have to add that. He put himself through school, then went to work then to have a family... You will always be a true blue UCLA Bruin, for the good years and not so good... I always liked your loyality and commitment even if it was not the best decision. (example)(Bruins/Trojans)...yet you were loyal.. as in life... I appreciate all your advice, as it has influenced me to always try to maximize my potential.. "Life is our stage and we only want the Best Performance" As your former son in law and a Dad myself, I will always try to do my best educating and influencing my son, your Grandson CJ ,to explain the sacrifices you made in life ,telling him the short stories you have shared with me,to always do his best for a better life and to have strong family values through all situations.... family is family... you take the good with the bad... yet thats all we have at the end of the day. Mr Hollywood,I know you will have the best seat in the house for every football game. God Bless you Joe, I know you and Barbara are doing well together now. Chris M
