RIP uncle Joe. My fondest memory of Uncle Joe was when he was younger him being able to carry me on his back underwater from one side of the swimming pool to another the whole length of the pool. Also, of spending holidays, especially the Jewish holidays with a family dinner at their old home on Beeman. He was such a likeable, and very socialable man., He always liked to have people around him, whether friends or family, and when he was out would often strike up conversation with anyone he met. My fond recent memories of my Uncle Joe is the first time I came to visit, he gave me a full tour of the jewish home, and I was struck by how popular he was, talking to so many of the residents there, and happily introducing me to them. My last memory of my dear Uncle is when I went to the jewish home to celebrate he and my Aundt Verne's wedding Anniversary at a litlle party they had for them there. I brought my camera, and was able to get some great pictures.Although he will be greatly missed, we shall celebrate the wonderful person he was, and blessed life he had.
