“Jeanne Robin Rousso, born 7/1/21, passed away on 3/9/16. Jeanne’s husband, Stan, predeceased her in 2004. Jeanne was a Chicago transplant who came to Los Angeles in 1944. She was schooled at the University of Chicago and attended Mills College.
Jeanne was a volunteer at the Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in her early married years, an avid golfer at Rancho Park Course (she was a top finisher in the women’s flights) and a crackerjack bridge player. Stan and Jeanne were amongst the first members of El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, where they made many lifelong friends.
She is survived by her children: Steve (Marilyn) Rousso, Cathy (Jack) Sweeney and Robin (Robert) Baranov; her grandchildren: Ben (Jennifer) Cohen, Dana Rousso, Erin (Gene) Eubank, Michael (Melonie) Baranov, Marc Baranov, Jim (Michiko) Sweeney, Erin (Bruce) Torr, Julie Sweeney, 16 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center – Stroke Center.”
