Jack Yablan, loving husband of over 50 years to Rhoda Yablan, father to Jeff and Kevin Yablan, father-in-law to Barbie Yablan, wonderful grandfather to Jeremy and Candice Yablan, great grandfather to Parker Yablan, and loved by his long time companion Kay Wacker. Jack proudly served in the U.S. Army, and was awarded the Bronze Star. Corporal Yablan served as a medic in Japan and in the infantry in Korea. He was loved for his joyous attitude and witty sense of humor. He easily made friends wherever he went. As an avid world traveler he delighted in seeing new sites and learning about the world and all its cultures. He was an accomplished high school and college athlete and still attended the gym regularly, where he made a cadre of friends. He will be sorely missed by many. Services will be held at 3pm, on Sunday, August 14, 2016, Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries~Hollywood Hills.
