Richard, I still remember the day when we first met you when Iris drove us to the car sales shop which you worked with about 15 years ago. You were in an elegant nice suit and smiled and talked to us in a humorous way. Since then, I saw you once in a while when Iris took me to your house for weekends when I was in Los Angeles. At that time, you always gave me a vivid and deep impression that you were such a hard-working, energetic and open-minded man, so I cannot imagine how you suffered in your last days when you were not well..... In deed, Richard, you will always stay in my mind with a figure as a smart and happy man! When God opened the window of the Heaven and asked me, "What is your wish for today?" I said, "Please take special care of the person reading this! "

Richard treated Jiabin, Karen and me like his children when we were in LA in 1999. Once he and Iris went more than an extra mile to take us to Hollywood on a Saturday afternoon. Hollywood never lacks tourists and vehicles. The parking spot is just a big pie everyone fights for. That afternoon Richard showed his great skills wriggling the car in a spot that had been tried by so many people who finally gave up in frustration. When I think of Richard, I immediately "see" his white hair and calm eyes sparkling behind his glasses. I remember the time he was happily tell us stories while Bruin wagging his tail beside him. I wish this moment could last forever. I did not see Richard often when I visited Iris. He worked very hard at weekend. One day he came back exhausted and excited. He exclaimed he had sold three cars during that day! Richard's kindness and wisdom brought me a lot of warmth when I was thousands of miles away from home. I feel deeply appreciated to have met you, Richard! Wishing you a peaceful journey back Home!
