Hershey Schwartz and my husband, Aaron Buster Chipman, worked together for more than 20 years. Their friendship and mutual admiration became legendary. When Aaron passed away, Hershey commemorated him in such a beautiful way. Then he faithfully sent greeting cards to me and the children every holiday season to keep in touch. Imagine my delight this year when Hershey and Helen chose to find my number and reconnect by telephone. It was grand to hear his voice! He put me on his email list and sent messages both hilarious and thought-provoking. I teased him because he didn’t have to use a large font despite his age. Dear Helen & family I was so sorry to hear of Heshey's passing. I was so happy that I spoke with him and you last week. I knew something was wrong when I didn't get any emails from.
