Geneva Trifon

I remember when the Justman family moved to Arden drive. I lived across the street at the time. Looked out my window and saw four kids running through sprinklers having the time of their lives!! Needless to say I quickly joined them and became fast and furious friends! Especially with the two youngest daughters as they were my contemporaries. After becoming friends with Rise and Carol,I met their parents, grandparents(whom honorarily adopted me) cousins etc. what a fabulous family!!! shortly after- We moved up the street, so I didn't get to spend as much time -however it was during that time when tragedy struck.a helicopter crash that would change the lives of my new found friends. I found myself visiting during this difficult time trying to lend support, but what I witnessed was that Morley,Russell,Rise, and Carol, were all so tight and supportive with each other. They rallied around their mother and perhaps it was then -that I learned a true sense of family. This was the tightest knit loving family if ever I saw! As Jean started to heal from the tragic loss of her husband, and with the support of her children I witnessed her deep desire to survive and live! I remember when she started dating how she would come into the room and allow us to critique her outfit! Which never needed adjustment mind you because Jean had incredible taste and was gorgeous!black hair or red hair didn't matter -GORGEOUS !!! Russell and Morley would give her some last minute coaching and protective advise, then off she went on her date. A few years after I moved back down the street (2 doors away!)I wound up spending a lot of time at their house again mostly hanging with my dear friend carol. Jean became a Trifon... And the rest is history! When I think of Jean during those years I just recall how much she celebrated life! She was always going and doing! What a sense of adventure!...I remember one time she even auctioned for and won the opportunity to lead an orchestra!! Who does that!~ She always made me feel welcome in her home, she made me laugh a lot, and even when we finally moved off the street when ever I ran into her I was always greeted warmly. Morley,Russell,Rise,Carol- my thoughts and prayers go out to you during this sad and deeply profound time. You had an amazing mother and now there's one star that shines in the sky a bit brighter than all the rest......and she is conducting a symphony! With love, your forever neighbor, Lisa Glucksman
