Not sure if anyone reading this knows who I am but I do remember Mack and Geri and their daughters. I was their letter carrier from 1980-1992 at 5454 Shirley Ave. in Tarzana. Geri and Mack were some of the nicest people on my route. If I didn't see them at their home I was sure to run into them at Moutard Bistro in the Capri Plaza having lunch. I am so sorry to hear of Geri's passing. My mother is 96 and am so grateful to still have her in a very healthy state. I know it's easy to take for granted people we see in our daily lives after all, I just delivered their bills to them but they always engaged me in a very personal way or else I wouldn't be writing this...BTW, I retired from the Tarzana Postal Service in 2010 after 39 years. I have 2 wonderful children and 4 incredible grandchildren...I loved the comment that Geri should be remembered by voting blue in November...that you can count on....
