Eva Marcus Ivener. 12/05/1914 – 11/16/2016
Eva Marcus Ivener was born in Omaha Nebraska to Harry and Anna Marcus, one of seven children. Her parents owned the
Beehive Cleaners, and the family lived above the cleaning shop until they bought a duplex next door.
Eva married Thomas Ivener in 1938 and lived on his farm in Leeds, Iowa where they raised their two children until
they moved to their home in Sioux City in 1951. Eva moved to Los Angeles in 1990 five years after Tom
passed. She also began to manage the farms when he passed and continued thereafter. Eva was a bright, elegant and remarkable woman and lived independently until she was 101. She is survived by: children Mark & Freya (spouse)
Ivener and Sheila Holincheck; grandchildren Jim & Cynthia (spouse) Holincheck, Michael (spouse) & Marni Galef, Jason & Stefanie (spouse) Ivener, Harrison (spouse) & Rachel Chahal; great grandchildren Gabriel Galef, Jordan Galef, Aaron Galef, Taylor Chahal, Samantha Chahal, Mia Ivener.
