Elsie F. Starr
Passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 24, 2013 at age 89. Born in New York on November 19, 1923 and grew up on the lower Eastside of New York City. Graduated from Hunter College and taught for 38 years in the New York City school system. Married for 57 Years to Isadore Jack Starr who passed away January 26, 2002. She is survived by her son Philip, her daughter-in-law Maria, her two grandsons Nicholas and James, Their wives Alejandra and Mollie and two great-grandchildren Jack and Joe. Memorial services to be held at 12 noon, Sunday, September 29 ,2013 Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries ~ Hollywood Hills (800) 600-0076.
