I am very saddened that I could not attend today's service. I feel I should have been there to respect a man who meant so much to me. At the very least I was able to just now watch the video and can write something here to share my feelings for this man. Stan and April filled a void in my life, as one set of grandparents both passed early in my life and the other, I do not currently have a relationship with. Without blood relations, April and Stan stepped into my life assuming the roles of grandparents to me and for that I will be eternally grateful. I have so many fond memories of times spent with them. Countless dinners and trips to Vegas. They would both drive out to the valley almost every weekend to go to dinner with us and would spend so much time with Adam and I in Vegas. Those times I will cherish forever. I cannot thank Stan's family enough for sharing an amazing man with me. I cannot imagine my life if I hadn't met Stan Levin. I looked up to this man and learned so much from him. He did so much for Adam and I and always looked so happy to make us happy. When I think of him, I will always see his face with the biggest smile he always wore when spending time with Adam and I. As I think back on "gramps" as we fondly called him, I remember not only how he treated Adam and I, but also how he treated April. He treated her as his queen. She was the sweetest, kindest woman, but like all woman, she could occasionally be difficult, but never for Stan. He worshipped the ground she walked on and did everything to make her happy. After she had passed, every time I was with gramps, I noticed him opening his wallet and kissing a picture. I asked about it once and simply told me he was paying his respects. These are just examples that explain how I viewed Stan. He was the kindest most selfless man I have ever met. I looked up to him as if he were my real grandfather. If I grow up to be half the man he was I will consider it a success. Thank you again to all of his family for sharing him with me. I am sorry to all family members for their loss of this great man. May he rest in peace back with his queen April.

So sorry to hear of Dr. Levin's passing. I met Mr. Levin (at the time) at Abram Friedman Occupational Center in the 1970s when I attended summer school classes, commuting with my mother, Theresa M. Villa, a typing and office procedures instructor. I felt privileged to meet my mother's respected colleagues, and Mr. Levin in particular. He was engaging and friendly, and a true professional. We had the honor of meeting all the Levin family in my younger days and enjoying time at my parents' house (perhaps making and eating tamales). My mother always spoke of Dr. Levin with fondness and admiration, and kept us up-to-date on the latest achievements of the children. We share in your sadness and loss, but are grateful and blessed to have known Dr. Stan Levin. Please accept our deepest condolences. --The Villa Family

Judi and Marc, I met your Dad in 1971 when he went to Friedman Occupational Center as a Business Coordinator. Stan was a very kind and brought much to our Division. He mentored all new teachers and was the person that teachers talked to when they had a problem or needed guidance. He helped me immensely and was a steadfast friend. This friendship continued into my personal life and after retirement. Our last lunch with other friends, including Judi and Barry, was in March 2015 at BJ's Brewery in Anaheim Hills. I will always remember the beautiful smile that he left us with that Saturday afternoon. Lastly, Stan painted a scarf and gave it to me for Christmas. I shall always cherist it. Judi and Marc, rmember your Dad with fond memories. He expressed much love for both of you. May God Bless and Keep You. ~~~~~ Alice Fuller-Babrowski, Former Business Education Consultant, LAUSD

Judi, so sorry to learn of the passing of your beloved Father. His kindness and generosity was a big as his heart. I have so many memories flooding my mind of the 35 yrs Stan was a part of our extended family. I'm especially remembering his kindness to my Mother. Long time ago April was in the hospital (stomach issue). Stan knew that my Mother wanted to come and visit April. He wouldn't hear of her taking the bus or taxi. He came and got my Mom, drove her to the hospital and brought her home. I remember the love and gusto in which he'd jump right in to make little Adam's birthday parties a success. I'm sure you have a lifetime of stories about the dignity and character of your Father. May his soul rest in peace, now joined with his beloved April.
