It’s strange how people from my past pop into my head. Tonight it was Deb, my first roommate, my coworker at two jobs, and the person who lit up the room and loved like nobody’s business. It’s heartbreaking to hear if your passing despite the fact we lost contact long ago. And, it’s heartwar to read the love here and to see that you never changed. You were always the person who made everyone feel welcome and you were the quintessential party planner. Greatness doesn’t change. I send so much love to your daughter Amber and to Lenny. Sorry I didn’t stay in touch better. I know you are flying free my old dear friend. Xoxo

I came across this web site while looking for Debs contact info. I am shocked and saddened. We were close-co workers at Builders Emporium and roommates in Costa Mesa for some time. We shared our most inner thoughts. young transgressions and I treasure our memories of Hawaii,Palm Springs and parties all organized and lead by my dear friend. I don’t know how we drifted apart-life happens and I deeply regret not reaching out sooner. Deb was a wonderful warm generous smart friend that I will remember always. My time of life with her is one of my most treasured and will never forget. Amber, I was at hospital day after your birth. I’m certain she was a wonderful mother and that you were the most important thing in her life.

I just got the news today. Although we fell out of touch some time ago, for many years, Debbie was a big and wonderful part of my life and that of my ex. We traveled to Hawaii together, we spent many wonderful weekends in Palm Springs as well as socializing close to home. When I think of her, the first thing that comes to mind is a warm and wonderful person that would make you feel like the most important individual in the room. Debbie tirelessly strived to plan dinners and trips that were always fun. When I picture her face, I only see that big smile of hers. This world was blessed with her presence and despite the years that have passed, I feel the sting and sadness of her absence from it. I will hug those I care about a little firmer and longer this week. Life is so precious and so short; mine will always feel richer for having known Debbie. May God rest her soul and may we all be able to see her again one day and be again touched by her warmth.

I am missing you today and I will miss you every day for the rest of my life. You are on my mind constantly, and I wish I could hug you just one more hug and tell you what a wonderful mother you were to me. You provided me such so much love and you put my needs first before your own, as you did for everyone else. You were so genuinely selfless and you had such a big heart, I hope you know how much of an impact you had upon so many people. I wish you were here just a little bit longer; I wanted you to experience more things with me during my life, but heaven needed you and I understand that. There's so many things I want to say to you mom but instead I will say I love you whole heartedly, and until we meet again, xoxo.

Debbie, You helped make my years with you at Brightwood Elementary and Alhambra HS so sweet and fun. Your infectious laugh always cheered us. I'm so glad I was able to see you at our Brightwood reunion a few years back. I remember it clearly because as I walked in the room you were the first to greet me and make me feel warm and welcome as you did with all your friends and family. You will be remembered fondly and missed by all you touched. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Debbie, Your smile, laugh and love are missed. Our talks on Friday mornings will be cherished, as we laughed and cried together. As you are looking down on us and flickering the lights on and off, we know you will be surrounded by loved ones who are there for you, just as you were here for all of your family. I will miss you dear cousin..... Love and Hugs, Vicki

I am so saddened by the loss of my dear friend Debbie. This was a woman who always put the needs of others before her own. She was so much fun to be with, and I fondly remember many get-togethers with the girls. You will definitely be with us in spirit, Deb. Amber, we love you.
