BarMack, David Avram
8/15/1952 – 4/15/2014
David BarMack, 61, died suddenly at his home in Fallbrook, CA, of an apparent heart attack. David was born in Los Angeles and lived there for the first 55 years of his life. He graduated from Fairfax High School in 1970 and from Cal State Northridge in 1974, with a BA in Recreation. He is survived by his wife, Morgan Stewart of Fallbrook, his mother Norma Barmack of Los Angeles, sister Beth Barmack (Tom Richardson) of San Francisco, niece Rachael Richardson of Santa Cruz, five cats, and two dogs.
David’s varied careers included mortgage broker, real estate broker, credit repair advisor, and softball umpire. Umpiring was his passion, and he regularly worked games for girls and adults throughout San Diego and Los Angeles counties. Before moving to Fallbrook he played softball in various men’s leagues in the San Fernando Valley.
David will be remembered by his large family and numerous friends as a generous, good hearted individual with a loud voice and a ready smile. He loved parties, music and going to concerts, had a huge CD collection, and was an ardent baseball fan with an amazing memory for sports trivia. He will be greatly missed.
A funeral service and interment will be held at Mount Sinai Memorial Park, 5950 Forest Lawn Drive, LA, on Sunday, April 20th, at 12:30.
