"It's just an image and it's really dark inside, It's just an image and you know you can't hide" I am heartbroken. We'd lost touch but I'd see Brian on Sunset and on Santa Monica still passing out flyers and plying his trade. I missed him before his passing; we grew up together, since 1988. And Jordan too, and Perry. I'm beside myself knowing now that Brian outlived Jordan by a year and that Mr Lesavoy, Malcolm and their mom had to see both pass on and I can't fathom just how unimaginable that must have been and wish I could have been there to do something. These were two bright lights. They were my friends. We smiled together, laughed together, played music both good and bad together, talked Chewbacca together. I will always miss them and at the same time, now at the ages of 48, I know I must remain vigilant and keep close tabs on my own health, which seems absurd at 48. I wish the Lesavoy family happiness and peace. You have had enough heartache. I will always love you and hope for your happiness. Thank you for being such an important part of the formation of my life - even more for not having any idea how important you were and yet doing it anyway.

I was stunned and deeply saddened to learn of Brian`s passing. Brian was a friend and colleague with a giant heart and personality to match. His intensity was matched only by his tremendous spirit of hope and faith in the human spirit. In this world where wealth, celebrity, and fame are grossly overvalued, Brian was a champion and a giant in the field of helping others in need. The recovery community and the world in whole is a less caring place without Brian and I will strive to carry on his legacy and high standard of helping others.

Rest in power, friend. Gone too soon is an understatement. The world is going to miss your loving spirit. We need more of you on this planet. See you around the Universe!

Brian, we will think of you making music and mayhem with Jordan and Bree somewhere where hearts never break and spirits are free. We love you. John, Linda, Lorne, Jess and Ally Frohman
