My heart goes out to all of you. It's never easy to lose a parent or a spouse. I have such wonderful memories of Beverly. It still brings such a smile to my face remembering the last time I saw her in California, because she told me she was going to participate in a march on Washington. When you lived in Detroit, you were all such a big part of my life. Just remember the wonderful times with Beverly.

Although I haven't seen Beverly in a number of years, she has frequently been in my thoughts. I don't think that I will ever forget her laugh; when she laughed the accompanying smile would light up the room. When Nancy and I got married almost 45 years ago, Beverly generously offered my mom the use of her club house so that she could host a party for us. Of course, Beverly also pitched in with all of the preparations, baking and cooking to make it a wonderful day. Sol, Bobbie and Donnie you are all in my thoughts.
