Betty Ruth (Harris) Feuerstein
July 1, 1921 – May 2, 2015
Betty died on Saturday, May 2, 2015 surrounded by family. She was born to the late Isadore and Anna Harris in Toledo, Ohio. At the age of 26, she moved to California where she met her husband, David Feuerstein. They married in 1954 and settled in Monterey Park where they raised their two children. Being with family was paramount in her life. She was known for her incredible memory, especially of family history. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, David, and siblings Seymour and Melvin Harris. Betty is survived by her two children: Irwin Feuerstein (his wife Eve) of Huntington Beach, and Gail Feuerstein of Irvine, and two grandchildren, Danielle and Megan Feuerstein. Funeral services: Friday, May 8th at Mount Sinai Memorial Park in Los Angeles. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, the Michael J. Fox Foundation, or Temple B’Nai Emet of Montebello. She will be missed.
