Lehrer, Bernard
Passed away on Saturday, November 30th at the age of 79. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Sandra and his sister Beatrice. He is survived by his children, Joseph (Sharon) Lehrer, Shelley (Ronald) Bowman, and Andrea Lehrer, granddaughters Hayley Bowman and Alessandra Lehrer, and his brother Paul (Carol) Lehrer. A Los Angeles native, he served his country in the US Army in Korea. He was very involved with his local synagogues, and later became very involved with United Synagogue, serving as regional president from 1988-1990.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Synagogue Youth’s Scholarship Program, 15840 Ventura Boulevard, Suite 200, Encino, CA 91436.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2013, at 10am, Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries ~ Hollywood Hills (800) 600-0076
