Barbara K. Olsan of Westlake Village, CA on July 30, 2019 after 85 years of life.  Beloved wife of 62 years to her best friend Bill, devoted mother to Heidi (Bill) Berliner of Westlake Village and Michael (Kim) of Wayne, Pennsylvania and loving grandmother to Morgan, Zachary and Max.  Predeceased by her parents Harry and Minnie Kesin and sister Judith Dolid.  Following her graduation from Syracuse University, Barbara spent over 25 years as an elementary school teacher in New Jersey, positively influencing the lives of thousands of students.  After living in New Jersey for most of her life, Barbara retired to Westlake Village, California where she enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and frequent trips to Malibu in addition to her ever-present crossword puzzles and books.  She will be remembered for her love of family and kindness to strangers.  Funeral services will be held on August 2 at Mount Sinai Memorial Park, Simi Valley, California at 12:30 PM.  Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to Franklin & Marshall College, Keys to Success Endowed Scholarship c/o Franklin & Marshall College, PO Box 3003, Lancaster, PA 17604.
