Dr. Alfred Weinstock was survived by his beloved wife, Guilda; cherished children Jessica (Jason) Weinstock Graham, Daniel (Lindsay) Weinstock, Sasha Matloob, and Sabrina Matloob; adoring grandchildren, Fletcher, Jocelyn, Charlie, Beckett, and Georgia, and loving brother Melvyn (Nydia) Weinstock, and sister Sheila (Len) Weinstock. Dr. Weinstock was a highly respected and loved Periodontist. he was trained at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine and received a PHd as an Assistant Professor at McGill University School of Medicine’s Department of Anatomy. He was also a former professor and chairman of periodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry, with a private practice of over 40 years. Dr. Weinstock was an avid skier, golfer, fisherman, and cyclist who did many marathons and always pushed himself to reach higher limits. He was a patient teacher and loved nothing more than to help his family appreciate the natural world around them. Kind, inquisitive and passionate are just a few words to describe the incredible man he was. Dr. Weinstock touched the lives of countless individuals, associates, patients and friends. He will be forever loved and forever missed. Services will be held at 10am, Thursday April 27, 2017, Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries~ Los Angeles.
