Adam Ben Amar left this Earth suddenly early on July 3rd, 2015 in a tragic car accident. Adam was born in Butler, PA but grew up in Northridge and West Hills. He was known for his big heart, kindness and physical strength. Adam enjoyed all sports. He was a star at Northridge little league before moving to West Hills. He played basketball in several youth leagues. Adam played basketball and football at El Camino High School, where he graduated. In 2013, he was certified as a Personal Trainer from American Fitness and Nutrition Academy & National Academy of Sports Medicine. Adam still enjoyed playing pick up basketball with his friends and even a had a brief MMA career retiring 1-0 after winning his only fight!
Adam was a wonderful big brother to Ethan and especially fourteen year old Aaron who greatly admired him. They would wrestle, shoot hoops, play and laugh. Last summer they hiked, swam, surfed and zip-lined in Maui on a family vacation.
Adam is survived by his loving mother Kris Myers his father Jonathan Amar, his brothers Ethan and Aaron Amar, his step-father Keith Myers, his step-brother Derek Myers, his step-sister Stephanie Myers, grandmothers Patti Worley and Rochama Amar, Aunt Carla Mershimer, Uncle Tim Worley, and Uncles Avishi & Yehoram Amar.
