For over sixty years, Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries has served the Jewish community throughout Los Angeles with the same sensitivity and respect we would provide to our own family members. Care, compassion and tradition are the hallmarks of all the services we provide; and our full range of mortuary services are performed in accordance with Jewish tradition, as well as respect for individual family choices.

Mount Sinai offers the traditional Jewish observances of Taharah (ritual washing) and Sh’mira (watching over the deceased and reciting Psalms). We also work with Chevra Kadisha (holy society) volunteer organizations around the country to ensure that all customs are properly handled according to Orthodox traditions.  (Although there is a privately-owned  mortuary in Los Angeles named "Chevra Kadisha Mortuary", that establishment is not a volunteer society.)

Would you like help scheduling a Rabbi? or if you do not have a family Rabbi, would you like us to introduce one whose religious views are similar to your own? Our knowledgeable memorial counseling staff is here to assist you through the entire process.  Additionally, we can help you to place obituary notices, order floral arrangements and guide you through our online obituary web portal where you can post pictures and messages.

When a death occurs, all you need to do is call us.  We have staff members on-site to answer your call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can assist you with mortuary and/or cemetery arrangements at either our Hollywood Hills or Simi Valley Parks.
