Both Mount Sinai Mortuary and Chevra Kadisha at Mount Sinai® serve the entire Jewish Community whether choosing to be interred in one of our Parks or elsewhere. We provide timely mortuary services and burial per our Jewish tradition, and our memorial counselors will guide families through handling the mortuary arrangements, related to and leading up to the burial.
Chevra Kadisha at Mount Sinai® offers the traditional observances of Tahara (ritual washing) and Sh’mira (guarding the deceased) under rabbinic supervision and ensures that all customs are properly handled according to Halacha (Jewish law).

♦ Transport and care for the deceased
♦ If requested, Chevra Kadisha at Mount Sinai® is available
♦ Memorial Counselors will help you with all service arrangements including introducing a Rabbi if desired
♦ All documentation including preparing and obtaining signatures for the Death Certificate
♦ Selection/purchase of burial property if needed with a choice of two memorial parks
♦ Direction of funeral service in one of our on-site chapels or at graveside
