Our Parks

Mount Sinai operates two beautiful cemetery properties to serve the Southern California Jewish community.

Mount Sinai Hollywood Hills

As Southern California’s premier Jewish cemetery, Mount Sinai Hollywood Hills, which opened to the public in 1955, has become an iconic landmark recognized for its stunning views, excellent service, awe-inspiring artwork and overall commitment to Jewish tradition.

Adjacent to Griffith Park, the serene landscape of our property is accented by mature trees (all trees planted on the property, including Olive, Acacia and Cypress) are specifically mentioned in the Torah.  Our rolling hillsides are further enhanced by the placement of colorful flower beds and dramatic artwork which offers the perfect environment for remembrance and meditation.

Mount Sinai Simi Valley

Mount Sinai Simi Valley, which opened in 1997, reflects the holiness of Jerusalem with its scenic mountain landscape, its dramatic architecture and its overriding sense of peace and sanctity.  This stunning cemetery property is located  in a spectacular setting off of the 118 Freeway and is the only synagogue-owned Jewish cemetery in Ventura County.
